FERTILITY NUTRITIONIST

Empower your Fertility and Pregnancy Journey
The three months prior to trying to conceive is the most crucial time for optimising egg health. Follicles are very sensitive to things like nutrient balance, and environmental toxins, and when not given the right support can lead to chromosomal damage and unsuccessful development.
Working with me, we will use these three months to eliminate factors which can deteriorate egg health, balance areas of your health which may be operating sub-optimally, and create the most nurturing and stable environment that favors a successful outcome.
It takes three months for sperm and egg cells to develop, making this the minimum time required to ensure optimal health.
Initial Consultation
Our initial consultation is an opportunity to take a deep and comprehensive look at your health, understand your individual needs, and begin building a personalised approach to improving your health and wellbeing.
We will explore your health and family history in detail, looking at both past and current symptoms, existing health conditions, health indicators and any recent test results or investigations. We will also discuss your daily habits, diet, sleep, stress levels, physical activity and social life, as all these factors can play an important role in your overall health.
In many cases, I will recommend specific tests to be completed before our first meeting. These may help us gain a clearer understanding of your nutrient status, identify potential imbalances or provide further insight into any existing health conditions. Having this information available allows us to make our time together more focused and to base our recommendations on a better understanding of your current health.
Based on everything we uncover, we will discuss practical and personalised changes to your diet, supplementation and lifestyle. The aim is to identify areas where targeted changes may make a meaningful difference, while taking into account your individual circumstances, health history, preferences and everyday life.
This is not about applying a one-size-fits-all approach or simply addressing individual symptoms in isolation. It is about looking at the bigger picture, understanding the factors that may be influencing your health, and developing a considered plan to support your reproductive health and create a nurturing environment suitable for a healthy pregnancy.
You will leave the consultation with a clearer understanding of your current health, the areas we may need to investigate further, and the first steps towards a personalised plan.

12-week fertility program
Trying to conceive without understanding why it isn't happening, or experiencing recurrent miscarriage, can leave you feeling frustrated, overwhelmed and unsure where to turn next.
Sometimes standard fertility investigations don't provide all the answers. You may have been told that everything looks normal, yet you still feel that something isn't quite right.
This 12-week programme is designed for women experiencing unexplained infertility or recurrent miscarriage who want to take a deeper look at their health, investigate potential factors affecting their reproductive wellbeing and build a stronger foundation for conception and early pregnancy.
Rather than looking at fertility in isolation, we take a whole-body approach, exploring how hormonal health, nutrient status, inflammation, gut and vaginal microbiome balance, and lifestyle factors may influence reproductive health.
What we will investigate
Over the 12 weeks, we will methodically explore several areas, including:
-
Hormonal health: Progesterone, ovulation, luteal phase health and other reproductive hormones.
-
Inflammation and immune health: Identifying relevant inflammatory markers and potential areas of concern.
-
Gut microbiome: Digestive health, microbial balance and its relationship with inflammation and nutrient absorption.
-
Vaginal microbiome: Exploring vaginal bacterial balance, pH and potential imbalances.
-
Nutrient status: Assessing key vitamins and minerals involved in hormonal function, egg development and early pregnancy.
-
Metabolic and general health: Blood sugar regulation, thyroid function and other relevant health indicators.
-
Lifestyle: Nutrition, sleep, stress, exercise and everyday habits that may influence reproductive wellbeing.

Findings Review
Throughout the programme, we will regularly review your test results, health markers and progress, using these findings to refine and adapt your personalised nutrition and supplement plan.
Rather than taking a static approach, we will make adjustments as needed, ensuring that nutrient support is targeted to your individual requirements and responds to changes in your health. This allows us to work progressively, addressing identified deficiencies or imbalances and ensuring your plan continues to evolve as we gain a better understanding of your body.
Personalized Testing
Choosing the right tests is a vital piece of this puzzle and allows us to build a comprehensive picture of your health that we can use to create a targeted and specific nutrient plan.
Test prices are not included in the program fee and can vary based on each case. However, I will always try to use free conventional testing where I can to save you money.
These tests can include;
-
Standard blood tests
-
Specific vitamin and mineral balance (DHEA, Vitamin D)
-
Thyroid/Thyroid antibodies
-
Gut/Vaginal microbiome
-
DNA Methylation
-
Inflammation/ Oxidative stress
-
Hormone levels (LH, FSH, Progesterone)
-
Male partner - semen DNA fragmentation
Action Plan
Together, we will develop a personalised action plan that fits realistically into your everyday life, taking into account your routines, commitments, preferences and individual circumstances.
We will also identify and work through any barriers or challenges that may arise along the way, so that changes feel manageable and sustainable rather than overwhelming.
The therapeutic element of the programme incorporates behaviour change techniques to help you build new habits, stay motivated, navigate setbacks and feel supported in putting your plan into practice.
The aim is to give you not just the knowledge of what needs to change, but also the tools, confidence and support to make those changes successfully.
